It looks as though everything is falling in place nicely for Hydra. A total of 103 individuals have been confirmed. The conference program has now been added to the web site. We encourage you to review the program before traveling to familiarize yourself with the work of your fellow scientists and to maximize time for scientific exchange during the meeting.
When you arrive at the Bratsera on Friday afternoon, kindly stop by the sign in table and pick up your name tag and other meeting materials. If you are giving a talk, please make sure that it is compatible with a Mac, and bring it on a flash drive. If you are presenting a poster, please make sure that it will fit on the poster boards available to us. The boards are 900 mm wide x 1500 mm long (you can actually see them in our web site under Poster Session Photos). This means that one can fit a A1 size poster in Landscape (594 x 841 mm) or a A0 poster in Portrait (841 x 1189 mm). US conversion would be slightly smaller than 3'x5'.
Thank you all for your support of this event. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
Reminder: Book hydrofoils online now if you have flights to catch on Wednesday.
There is a catamaran ('Flying Cat') at 7.00am, and hydrofoils ('Flying Dolphins') at 10.35am and 11.35am on the morning of Wed the 17th (plus another 4 in the afternoon/evening). The Flying Cat has a much bigger passenger capacity.
