7/05: University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, New Bolton Center. Assisted with acclimation of foals from a semi-feral pony herd to human handling.
2/05 to 6/05: Cornell University, (College of Veterinary Medicine), Ithaca, NY
Researcher: Worked for Dr. Jan Scarlett, reviewing tapes of shelter cats to study their behavior in colonies versus single cages.
9/03 to 4/04: University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, New Bolton Center. Research Volunteer: Worked for Dr. Sue McDonnell studying foal development in a herd of semi-feral ponies.
5/02 to 9/02: Tri-State Bird Rescue, Newark, DE
Bird Care Volunteer: Responsible for care and feeding of orphaned baby birds, large birds of
prey and other injured adult birds.
